Joseph's and his technicolor dreamcoat? - who makes the coat for joseph in the west end

I need to make a shelter for our production of the school ... any help on how to do it from nothing to? I want it for the duration of the floor, and just hang when worn, but like to go out, when Joseph turned abruptly. must be doubled as well. I'm not much of an idea how to make a coat .. so any help would be very grateful!
