depends on what you do with the car when the 4 wheels and you go off road or haul things I will put in, they lose some suspension travel and turning radius, but a solid axle is stronger and cheaper to correct, if destroying something IFS to change sound sure you know what you're doing before you should start working, you can use a truck for parts of the front and rear chevy it is much stronger, much have to work more if truck 2 wheel drive, solid axle I have is not built 4-wheel drive for year and I wouldnt be with IFS
